| Soviet N-1 and Proton launchers had control units that could compensate for failed engines or short burns and still put the payload into its orbit.
Except that it never worked on the N-1 - all the launches resulted in catastrophic failures (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N1_%28rocket%29)
Hitler did not have a Facebook account either, and look how it turned out. The fact that it was reported in a German newspaper - coincidence? I think not!
You can import a Powerpoint or a PDF (there are more formats as well) and present on an iPad - everything you do gets recorded - then you can export to MP4 or YouTube. Obviously, you need to convince the lecturer to use it;-)

There are highlighters, a laser pointer - you can also save the whole lecture as a PDF (more or less - it takes screenshots of your slides).
"the Chinese government stands or falls at their pleasure" - no, actually it doesn't.
The Chinese government is an opressive Communist regime that does not have anything to do with "choice" or "democracy".
The Chinese citizens cannot vote on any issue, choose government officials etc.
And Sergey Brin comes himself from a post-communist Russia, so he should know better than that. But one's point of view depends on one's location (and the number of $ in one's pocket as well).

Get real, man - if everyone around you carries guns and automatic rifles, then don't be surprised that once in a while something like this happens. If this guy had only access to knives and similar things, he could've killed 2-3 people at most, but not 32.
What an insane country. Next time we'll hear about another "record"...
Of course it has. You may look at the discussions in country Zaurus usergroups (http://www.zaurususergroup.com).
I'm from Poland and all Polish national characters are supported (fonts and keyboard).

You're presumably from Czech Republic, so you shouldn't have trouble reading either group;-)
Not only blueprint drawings - this has actually been tested with the Saturn I booster: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
