    "Anyone who would have the capability to hack an iphone would know that if you hack it, you can't get support for it." A phone shop round the corner from me just put up a big sign saying "iPhones now unlocked"; that service is only going to become more widely available...

    Disc are quiet *now*... The 10k rpm SCSI disc in my old Ultra 1 sounds like a gas turbine spooling up when I switch it on, and you can hear the heads working in the next room with the door shut!

    KDE should lose the 'hook to window edge' feature because people will think the UI is jerky? how stupid does he think people are? a good 4 seconds of shifting windows about will reveal method in the madness, i think. scraping the barrel of points to make... sorry, i only read to the end of the second page then gave up.

    pure distilled deionised water still contains ions and is therefore conductive to some extent. water exists as a mixture of molecular H2O, OH- and H+ ions in equilibrium. even pure H2O left to its own devices will generate OH- and H+ ions to return itself to equilibrium.
