I have a hard time with some of the console versions of PC games. After all the Doom and Duke Nukem versions were just flat out pathetic. Blizzard is just doing this for the almighty dollar. They can reach more people by just releasing it on X-Box and PS-2 then they can with PCs.
I am suprised that Microsft hasn't jumped on this one so they could have exclusive rights to the game so they can have that killer game that makes everyone run out and by an Xbox. After all how many people ran out and bought an X-box after seeing HALO. Its the whole killer app thing again.
I totally agree. You need to have something as a backup plan. You have to pay your bills somehow. But keep in mind that a piece of paper doesn't necessarily mean your smarter. You need to really ask yourself "Why do I want to go back to school?". Is it because you want to improve yourself or is it for your ego. Working as a military contractor I have dealt with officers with college degrees and the enlisted (everything from just out of highschool to career veterans 20+ years in). The enlisted personnel who, at the most have some college, have always and continue to be some of the most highly intelligent, reliable people I have worked with. You just really need to look at what your reasons for getting the degree but you also need to have a backup plan.
I totally agree. One of the problems was that they saturated the market. I think the show was in for trouble when Jay Leno started to have some of the builders on the Tonight show. The final deathblow was when they started selling the lame action figures. (My niece who thinks the show is cool even thought the action figures where "stupid")
The second was they didn't make any attempts to mess with the formula. It was cool when the show was almost in an underground status but when it got popular and had the chance to be more innovative they just relied on the formula. Changing the battlehazards is not being innovative.
Third their casting person needs to be shot. How many times did they change their T&A. Most of the time the women looked like they didn't want to be there.
My reply to the article is in the minimalist vein. Pretentious.
Suggestion.....Turn off the computer....Pick up a history book and realize that maps were around long before mapquest came around.
