Of course, being a money-grubbing entity, wouldn't make lots of Money be a Good Thing, and wouldn't be the company that stood behind the movies that raised the bar Not Be Such a Bad Thing?
I totally agree. I walked away from it wondering really not getting it. I was told that i needed to understand Japanese Folklore. Somebody told me it was the Japanese version of Alice in Wonderland; not being understanding the folklore of AinW, one would really not get watching the Disney version of it.
entrapment? I thought honeypots weren't put out there for entrapping and prosecuting crackers. Where they not made for watching crackers and other hackers in the wild, to analyize new tools, techniques, or common methods?
Kinda of a catch-and-release for crackers...but no bother to stick your hand in their mouth and take out germ-infested hooks.
I have on problem with going FULL open source _development_ for J2EE apps.
I'm part of a project that is trying to develop a J2EE application with as many Open Source Tools as possible.
One thing that is sorely missing is a decent, GPL-like development tool for EJB. Sure, we can do it in vim, but why? Other tools, like Forte or Web-sphrere, offer "free" multi/cross platform tools, but they won't do EJB or XML schema validation (Sun's Forte does XML checking and validation, but validates only against DTDs).
Does anybody here have any suggestions for tools that will aid in developing EJB and related technologies? Otherwise, we will be forking money over to Websphere, Sun, or CodeWeavers....

a good EJB open-source or "free" development environment....Eclipse looks promising, but it seems it's still missing EJB support
