My question is which third? I know that sometimes the top third of people violate IT policy but I reckon the real issue is when people are violating policy using their middle third...
Or if its a file youre after, right click, save target as... at least you get the file first and it wont run with the wrong ext from OS (you'd hope...)
I would guess that the porn script reads the location of the captcha eg http://mailserver/captcha1.gif from the mail page then displays that gif on its own page? if this is the case then one solution for the mail people could be:
-Mail signup starts
-generate captcha dynamically on the server eg http://mailserver/captcha1.gif
-display page to user
-when the page has finished loading delete the actual file from the server (the underlying value is still stored for verification on the server db)
-when the porn site grabs the path and tries to display it it will fail (well the gif wont show)
Not sure if this would work but its something I'd try???
funny as NASA quote 'For relatively small quantities of aerogel the cost is about $1.00 per cubic centimeter'. My maths isnt great but isnt that a hell of a lot cheaper than $200 per cubic inch? Also it says on ebay that this stuffs really hard to get hold of...well 'Aerogel is commercially available in limited quantities from a few companies. These can be found quite easily by searching the Internet using the keyword: aerogel.'

Treat people how you expect to be treated. Works for me.
