Sorry to see your post. I guess it is just the "Big City" problem. Here in rural kansas we have a triving club and as much 'elmering' as you want. But then again people in the communtiy are the same way. Glad to be in the backwards part of the country. I have had my ticket since 2002 and have found most of the contacts that I have made very eager to extend a "helping hand" answr any questions I have or give advise and encouragement. It does not matter what part of society you look at you will find the bad as well as the good in people. We, the amatuer communtiy, as a whole are here to promote the hobby and assist the public as we can.

  2. Who will be in control???? on Killing Others' Malicious Processes · · Score: 1

Who will be the admin of the list of approved process to kill? And if we are trying to make our machines more secure from outside control, ie worms, viruses and hackers, will we have to make a "secure backdoor" so that someone can remotely kill the "approved process". We should make the manufactor of the operating system responsible for the safety of the system, the sane as car, drug and other manufactors are reponsible for there products. I think that before we make another hacking tool avaiable we need to fix the system. And educate users, management, who controls the money spent for IT as well as system admins. On a lighter note, Can we use this to stop spammers????

Makes you wonder which sites were accessed for the maesurement. Many of the "speed increases" claimed by other companies are from there web server only. Which contains cached pages. Aslo by limiting or eliminating, the graphic content, java, flash and all the other "glitz" that web page designers incorperate into there pages, we could all have faster rendering. The real test is download speed.

We, the people who buy the products, will be burdened with the final cost of disposal and the responsibility to return to an aproved recycling center. I live in rural USA which adds additional cost to return to a recycling center. This is a real problem which needs a real solution. Who will pay is a mute issue, its the people that buy the product that will pay.

I agree, we should not have a "knee jerk reaction". We should let the FBI and the NSA focus on there respective areas of talent. The FBI for domestic and the NSA for foreign. If the NSA is overwhelmed by the foreign aspect of survalence, how will adding the domestic survalence to the mix help. Talk about an overload of information. And least anyone forget. Was George Orwell just wrong on the date, 1984? Let us hope that his work stays fiction.

Is this the end of the battle for either side? What about the Supreme Court, which had refered the case back to the lower courts. Will Microsoft or the States try for one last round? Anyone want to buy some stock in a small software company?

Better yet if these people do not like the moeny symbolizing a "Religious" icon. They can use someone else currency instead. Where has all the common sense gone?
