    There are gases other than smoke. In fact, smoke isn't a gas, it's particulate matter in the gaseous air. Your lungs can be used to inhale cannabis without inhaling smoke, and plenty of people consume it this way.

    Plenty of people consume cannabis without smoking it. Where I live in CA, I'd say it's the majority. Smoking is passé.

  7. You say you look for devs who want to rewrite anything they come across in PHP or who come from disfunctional teams they want to leave. You don't allow for the possibility that a PHP developer is talented, works with talented people, and are generally happy writing good code in PHP.

  8. That's dumb. Rewriting or porting software introduces bugs and security flaws. Good developers are good in any language. Hire good developers. Any developer who wants to rewrite everything when they come in isn't a good developer.

  9. When your cloud provider only provides images for OS's that are two years or more out of date, and your OS vendor only provides packages for 4 year old versions of software, this is what happens.

    FUD.

    Transaction times are faster than ACH or credit transfer and fees are laughably low. You can even send without a fee, but it might take a bit longer then.

    Not only do you not have to be online for many downloaded games, you may have to be online for disc games nowadays.

    People with darker skin can go out in the sun more to compensate. Though you still need calcium to process vitamin D so you're still stuck with dietary solutions.

    The difference is that the app store catalogs get ever bigger, while stores only reserve some parts of the inventory for new whiz bang, while dedicating large parts of the inventory to old standby brands that everyone knows and wants.
