What would have happened if Elcomsoft and Sklyarov would have just stayed at home? Does Russia have an unavoidable extradition policy? I can sue anyone I want in any court in the world (in theory), but so what? If I don't recognise the ruling, and I am outside their sphere of influence, can't I just move along (I'm not the droid they're looking for). So what if they are criminals in the US. All of us citezens seem to be nowadays anyway... what are a few more?
Just wondering.
I thought HDTV was closer to 60Mbps, and standard TV was closer to 20. Can't remember where I read that, so i guess i'll have to just belive my own unfounded ideas rather than think or research.
Hey soldier, I served too. So what. You seem to miss the point of military service. You GIVE UP your rights (for a contracted period of time) to protect the rights of others. It's sad that you seem to have so much contempt for the Americans that you are protecting (by reading/.). So you have an understanding and appreciate the freedom? Good. How, then, can you in any way, support the loss of the freedom that you are paying for and so many have died for. You are right, "freedom aint free." Part of the payment is the courage to stand by our national ideals in the face of our aggressors.
