Oh come on. Al Gore made a movie and a big PR tour instead of just bombing all those evil petrol-burners. The world is much more peaceful without bombing. Doesn't that deserve a Nobel Prize?
There's a bug in many keyboards which every time you type the key sequence "[L] [O] [S] [E]" appends the key presses "[<-] [<-] [O] [->] [->]" afterwards. That's why many people love old (non-enhanced) versions of vi: Old vi doesn't know the arrow keys.
Probably more important: Why would an aspiring artist go to EMI and have a limited reach when he could as well go to some competitor and be sold also to customers of small music shops? The loss of small music shop customers may not directly hurt EMI (otherwise they wouldn't have done this), but a loss of content to sell will probably hurt them. And it will not be obvious until the current hot stars are not hot anymore, and the new hot stars are with different labels. And then it's too late.
I personally think it's a bad business move. If I had EMI stock, now I would sell.
Well, in Germany it would be against the law to change early. It has been shown that driving till the end, and then merging as "one from the left lane, one from the right lane" is the most efficient way to handle ending lanes. Therefore the law demands that. It's called "Reissverschlussverfahren" ("zipper procedure").
Since the water vapor brought into the atmosphere in high altitudes likely increases global warming (water vapor is a more effective greenhouse gas than CO2), I don't think they could get carbon credits.
Maybe the SWIFT servers should be put into Switzerland. Then the EU can say to the USA: "Oh, you have complete access to all data on all SWIFT servers in the EU, just as promised. Too bad there are no SWIFT servers in the EU..."
And if you feel bad, it even includes a psychotherapist.

So you based your evaluation of CD sound on one single CD?
Is there a lossless MP3 format, or did you just not see the word "lossless"? .wav instead of FLAC.
Of course they could also offer plain

Maybe in truth it's an psychology experiment to find out how long it takes people to get bored :-)
Actually SAT problems are usually solved quite easily. You just have to turn your dish until you get a reasonable signal. :-)
Well, they can't dump the patent system because dumping the patent system is patented.
Well, the point is, software patents are against the law in Europe. But that doesn't hinder the EPO to grant them anyways.

So why do they sell their CDs at all? Just put the torrents on TPB and sue everyone downloading them.
Actually, the number of flying cars I've seen up to now was very low. :-)
At least with current technology, the number of cars moving at the same time cannot exceed the number of living people.
Excessive locking, maybe?
OK, so how do we determine the 40% who should drive like jerks? Sell special "jerk driving licenses?"

So you are saying TPB just didn't bribe^Wsupport the politicians enough?

Almost a full century before the first shuttle launch by humans! Finally we have proof for UFOs! :-)
Do you have a better alternative?
Did he possibly play blues?
Don't take the red pill. Take the blue pill. It's better for your spine.
