I have used OpenBSD since 2.8 for firewalls and I actually just finished reading this book. Though this book is a broad overview of OpenBSD, it does contain alot of useful info for both new users and experienced admins. If you havent used any of the power of OpenBSD or just a few core features like me, this book is really great to have on the shelf.
From a game developer's view, yes it is wise. Violent games sell, nice games do not. Look at TV, look at movies, there are filled with violence and sex for a reason. From a social aspect there are indeed concerns, but you will never see a *company/corporation address them in their newest hot release game/movie/show/album.
Have you ever tried to read a long article or web page on a 240 x 320 pixel screen? Mobile is good, but quite unpracticle for viewing stuff which is printed in books with much larger pages. I dont think I would want to read all my books and do calc3 problems on my ipaq. Perhaps a titanium powerbook with them wide screens, but not anything with less than 800x600 resolution.
A Pentium 100 can run OpenBSD with ipf and ipnat just fine. It takes 30 mins to do a install and everything you need is already built in. Get a cheap hub or switch and 2 lan cards for the box and you have both a router and a firewall. Also, even though you arent *given a static IP it is very easy to simply use one. Use a different box to grab an IP from dhcp and then release it. Before this IP can be reasigned via dhcp assign it to your firewall. Simple as that you have a firewall, static IP, and connections for as many boxes as you have ports on your hub.
Do I smell a DOSDoubleClick@Home project?

Might as well wait until Fedora Core 2 is released.
this will last until the first movie or mp3 is stored in thier servers. then they can be sued and the "unlimited memory" is going to disapear.
