Yes, part of this was exactly my point. Why is the goverment throwing tax dollars at such a project when time after time there are reports of real life violence stemming from games?
Whilst I do not agree that games cause violent behaviour, plenty of people have that idea planted in their minds.
After the tragic events at Columbine why would the Army promote such a thing? We don't need any more BS hype about games creating psycho killers.
Why not attend a 2600 meeting? They take place all over ther world and are free for anyone to attend. Despite what you may think some intellegent life is often present at the meetings.
They take place on the first Friday of every month and there is a list of them all here.
I thought about getting one of these kits for our PS2. But then I realised that while I'm messing around on the PC my boyfriend can play games which keeps him quiet. If I started hogging the playstation he wouldn't have anything to do;)
Maybe we should just buy another PS2 now that they've come down in price so much....no there's an idea!
