Yeah but do they have anything on Everything 2?

  4. Zaurus on Nokia Extends Mobile Apps Development To Linux · · Score: 1, Insightful

I think this is great. When the Zaurus showed up with the Java/Linux partnering on mobile devices it showed much promise. Now that it is spreading it will hopefully bring about more similar devices. If not, at least it will help with small and faster Java programs, something that is always good. :-)

  5. Re:Apple on Collecting Classic Computers · · Score: 0

I am now a sophmore in high school and I remember when I was in grades K-2 we used to go to the computer lab. It was a bunch of old Apple IIgs's and I remember late in the year during 2nd grade I got to go after school to "computer club" because I was supposedly one of the best computer users at the school. Now that I think about it about all we did in the club was format disks for the teacher and play Number Munchers. Anyways thanks for the memories. :-)

  6. TLC and Discovery Channel on BBC To Ditch "Tomorrow's World" · · Score: 0

I am a teenager (16) and I remember when I was a younger kid I would often watch both TLC and the Discovery Channel for intresting shows on space and the sciences. As of late it seems that all I can find on them are show like "A baby story", "Trading Spaces", a myriad of other decorating shows, and a multitude of crime investigation shows. Was I simply blinded by being a child at these show that I thought were insanely intresting or has the quality really decreased?

You also left off the fact that slashdot got everyone to google "Beowulf Cluster" to find out what they actually are.

  8. COBOL on 85 Big Ideas that Changed the World · · Score: 0

It is odd that they put Fortran on as the language that started computer languages while in fact it was COBOL. They put the original inventions of many other things up and not the one that made it big. I wonder if they new COBOL was first.
