IBM started in my hometown of Endicott NY. For over fifty years they have been the number 1 employer in the region. But slowly over the years more and more people have lost their jobs as IBM moves away from our area for better locals all over the world. Recently a group of investors bought a large portion of what is left of IBM in Endicott in an attempt to save what was left. A lot of people are blaming high taxes both local and state for a reason that IBM is moving away. If anyone is interested they can read my local paper there are stories everywhere.
