Oh is that what what you think? Under Ballmer, MS went from approx 30 mil per year in revenue, to 100 mil when he left in 2014. Greek may have yawned but MS and itâ(TM)s investors were quite successful during his tenure.
Woz hasn't done anything relevant in 40 years. The few things he DID do were only brought to us by the vision and tenacity of Jobs. Everyone loves the big teddy bear and all, but he is way out of his league. He should just go back to posting hi travels on his social media, doing events, photo-ops and cameos on TV. He just needs to move along... he simply isn't relevant anymore.
Hmm... I guess my fbsd corporate production server is dying and I just never noticed.
Linux was created becuase *BSD was being sued by AT&T and not available. Linux got a head start. Even so.. netcraft still reports fbsd as top dawg in the server world. Hugh corporations with insane daily process (Yahoo.com, walnutcreek, etc) must have been crazy to use a "dying" OS. Even after the AT&T suits and Linux was available also:)
Umm.. if all govt. software is public domain, then where the public accessiable source for the project Carnivore virus brought to you all by the FBI in the name of "National Security", the spyware installed unknowingly on various system to "Monitor for illegal activity"? Keep in mind people that your govt. dumped biochemical weapons on their own people during Vietnam. You think YOUR best interests are at hand with their new "Secureware"?
"life imprisonment for malicious computer hackers". Considering they prosecute 14 year old kids when they expose mail server exploits in govt. computers.. it will be scary to see what they consider "malicious computer hackers". irc.openprojects.net users may have to start using anonymous proxies, they may consider what goes on in there conspiracy. Poking around on your webhosts shell may get you life if your not careful. --Neurosys
