This is precicely what Microsoft OneNote lets you do. It syncs the audio recording with whatever you are writing/typing. So when you want to find out what was being said, from your unintelegable notes.... its all right there:)
Check it out here. I have been using the beta and absolutly loving it.
What about OpenExchange? It will let you at your email, calender, and contacts via the web and though Outlook...And, probably through the Ximian Connector as well.
My company is considering this to replace a bunch of Sun Qube 3 appliences. It seems as though it could be a nice solution, however I have not had time to do much testing yet.
It seems strange to me to completly remove all MS software from campus, because it is prevelent in the rest of the world, and students will most likely need to understand how to use it once they leave school.
On the same token, it seems like an excelent idea to bring in other platforms, truly teaching students about the varity of computing.
So, a grant that is supposed to be used for non-MS products seems like a great way to help students find out about alternative computing platforms, but to create an MS free zone I think would do the students an injustice.
When using Hotmail, the Block button is greyed out when you are reading mail from any MS affiliate...And even when I get my hotmail through outlook, some of the MS stuff just slides by the filters I have set up...
Oh the joys of MS....
AFMs are being used to do alot more than measure nowadays. This summer I worked on Dip-Pen Nanolithography which uses an AFM like a fountian pen of sorts. It's pretty cool stuff, and if that cantilever is off (the piece which holds the "nub" of the pen) then all of the work done could be rendered incorrect...

Is there any way to get a copy of the CD in the US? Perhaps someone could put up a .torrent? :) Much thanks!
If he paid so much for this... Why not just buy a real plane... Some of the new kit planes could easily be had for this sum...

With the emergence of smaller form factor PCs like the oqo it really does not seem SO far fetched that MS might introduce a handheld gaming system.
;)!
However, it seems that absolutly everyone is entering the market including Nokia and sony.
Does MS really want to fight it out with sony on the handheld platform, when they have been utterly beaten on the console one?
Regardless, since it would probably be based on x86 hardware, it might make an excelent portable linux system

Check OpenExhcange 4 out.
