If it weren't for the ubiquitous cellphones:
1) another plane would have crashed in washington
2) more collumbine kids would have dies
3) People would not have been able to say their last words to their loved one before they jumped from the burning tower.
but I guess you being annoyed is more important than being able to contact people in an emergency.
hmmm, and islamic fundamentalism wouldn't have anything to do with afghanistan being a war torn country. Then again, they did have russia trying to invade them, so they HAD to arm everyone. We're talking about a third world nation here people.
So everyone that owns a gun is a redneck? I want everyone in favor of gun control to go to their bedrooms, and three guys break in the front door. Call the police. Which guys are going to get to your bedroom first?
And please, no more "if you own a gun you're more likely..." stats because the average person is more likely to stab his eye out with a pencil than write a pultizer prize winning article.
30 k employess isn't a lot? Um, I work for upmc and they employee 32 thousand people and practically run the entire western pennsylvania medical field. That's a billion dollars a year in sallaries, not counting how much the doctors probably make. Since that's really not that many, how about you foot the bill? Or even ask your mayor to foot the bill?
Have a government/academic program where small companies under a fixed earnings or personelle can elect to appoint law students who seek internships. The law students get experience in the field and the companies have more than a shot in hell. Ambitious student will want to take on the bigs guys and will do it cause they're hungry to get in the game.
I used to be a game developer. Never again!
When my company folded, and we were looking at contracts everything was "xbox, xbox!" Fewer publishers want to pay for a pc game anymore.
That will mean fewer PC games. And unless you're making a sequel to a hit game, sorry pal, good luck.
It's not a matter of making a game, that's the easy part. The hard part is getting someone to pay your staff several million for a title.
My question is, how do they track the browsing info to YOU? I get a different ip address each time I log in. How are they gonna know who had what IP address on March 13th 2004 at 7pm when they accessed the site "NAZI hairdressers and their plan to destroy the world"?
