It just rocks, it is the same as a dog except you don't have to feed it and it does not leave "unwanted things" in your rooms:) Go to the SONY website for this cute dog:)
I'm a win32 user (ok, it sucks), but I will go to linux or unix with my new computer. So I doubted between RedHat (they come in a very nice box, unfortunatly it costs a lot so I downloaded it) or freeBSD (I liked the devil).
But after all the doubts I desided to use RedHat and FreeBSD. First I'm going to try RedHat, then FreeBSD. Then I will deside what's the best one and then use that one. If u haven't tried a piece of software yet, you can't make up if it is good or not.
So to all u who are shouting at the other OS (linux, Unix Beos, I don't care) just try the other ones. They are probably all better than Win32:)
When in the USA somebody buys a domain name. And afterwards somebody else claims to need that same domain name. You get a juristic game to tell who gets the domain name. Now I got this question, what about those companies that buy domain names and then sell them for -a lot of- money ? In Belgium we have the FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED rule.
Just this day... 9-9-'99, and the Dutchmen (those guys from Holland, Europe) took an entire day to test there computer systems for year 2k resistant. The public services were no longer reachable so it seams the test failed,... COOL
People have already proven that a better product has not always grown to a general used standard. For example, take os/2 from IBM. U certainly wont deny that it is better than windows, but it was no succes because MS is just all around. Take VQF, ever heard of ? It is smaller than MP3, it gives you a better quality, but it never got as big as MP3. Why ? There where not enough songs in VQF (you can find MP3's everywhere).
For now, I stick to MP3, if someone decides an other standard is better, and the songs are widly available in that standard, I will probably switch over (but I will always keep my current collection). Thank you:)

First of all, I don't think Advanced Soft is going to win (at least I hope they won't).
Secondly, if they did win, the legal departement of Micro$oft is probably much stronger (I mean, they 'll find a way to get out of it) than Corels.
Even if Micro$oft has got to pay (a lot) that won't harm Bill's private property, it will only harm micro$ofts shares (what is a part of Bill's property) and of course micro$ofts assets.
As it seams to me Micro$oft has started a major offense against all competitors that are still standing.
First we had some cool benchmarks that "proved" that micro$oft NT was better than linux/apache... (yeah right)
Now they are attacking Corol with the help of some other company, that would probably get some advantages like support from micro$oft (yeah support, this means micro$oft won't sue them in the next 5 years:-))))

But I agree that Yahoo! can't compete anymore, if you want your site to be indexed with it you have 2 options.
- You add it for free and it shows up in a month or six
:( - You pay (this sucks) for it and it shows up very fast
