  1. seriously.. on Linux Clusters Finally Break the TeraFLOP barrier · · Score: 1

I was going to suggest creating a cluster from the top 10 there. Would that be possible? A beowulf cluster beowoulf cluster?

  3. strangely on Python Programming with the Java Class Libraries · · Score: 2, Interesting

This is going to be very useful for me, and it would probably be a valuable guide for someone learning how to program too, having both a more simplistic language moving onto a more compilcated one. So covering many programming topics. Strangely enough, last night I had just downloaded and started using jython, but was discouraged a lot by the poor documentation. Now I wake up and see this. This wouldn't be the first time I've thought of something and then seen it on slashdot the next day.

  5. monkey in dilbert on Build A Custom-Fit One-hand Keyboard · · Score: 1

This is similar to that dilbert cartoon, with the monkey that can use the keyboard and mouse and the same time with his tail. It looks like man has _finally_ surpassed monkeys.

I think its a good idea, you deserve a milkbone.

The only problem I can see is getting the exact dates the EULAs where made, as sometimes they are changed or for websites its sometimes unclear.

    Good Luck!

  8. books I keep handy on Best Computer Books For The Smart · · Score: 1
I am not a good learner from those self teaching books, and I find I pick up on stuff quickest from reference books, however the _best_ programming book I have had is "A Programmer's Introduction to PHP 4.0" by W.J. Gilmore, which combines practical knowledge and information as well as a comprehensive refence to the functions layed out in a convenient way. The book is mainly for people starting out with no knowledge of PHP, but it doesn't waste time on stupid metaphores for variables. Even if you know PHP (at least the basics) this is still a good book because it also has a unique refence style layout for PHP with SQL, installation, XML, OOP, etc..

That book and "Apache Desktop Reference" are always beside my monitor.
