A word of advice. If you really enjoy making games, do not, and I repeat DO NOT get a job in the game industry. The Game Industry is a business and doesn't really care about making good games, let alone fun games. If you really like making games, get a job you can do in your sleep from 8-5, then make games at night and on the weekends. Trust me, you'll lead a much happier life.
Game companies are pretty much sweatshops anymore.
