I did use the standard p2p networks at some time. I was speaking of my experiences with them. I have moved on.
My gut tells me though that the p2p networks are what will be targeted by the music giants, as they get the most illegal toons out to the most people. I am not going to argue what is the scene and what is not, but the masses will be targeted. p2p networks allow the average jow sixpack to get toons without buying them.

I think that most of the rips on p2p networks are sooo shitty that no software could detect anything. Ever try getting a song off kazaa? You are lucky if there isn't at least 10 flwas. I have trouble figuring out what I am listening through the static, let alone some software.
