There are so many errors in these numbers I don't know where to start. There is a mixing of bits and bytes. There also seems to be a seemingly random transition from the Giga- and Mega- prefix.
Even the notation isn't consistent (Mb/s vs Mbps).
Example:
" Each 5GHz radio is able to broadcast at 2.1Gbps compared to 1.3Gbps on Gen 1 devices, and the bandwidth on the 2.4GHz channel is also increased from 600Mb/s on Gen 1 devices to 1GB/s. When you take both 5GHz channels at 2,100Gb/s and add it to the 1000Gb/s on the 2.4GHz channel"
First we are using Gbps, fine. Now we are using Mb/s. Then we say the 2.4Ghz channel got 13x faster (600Mega-bits-per-second to 1-Giga-byte-per-second). Then we say the 2.4Ghz channel is 1000-Giga-bits-per second. Who knows.
Being the only geek here with 88 cents I went for it. Downloading was very easy. No clunky software was eneded, just download it directly from walmart after paying. Way better than any other solution (IMHO).
The results are mplayer not being able to play it. Oh well.

I wasn't very clear in my post.
I am trying to create daily 'snapshots' of our server. Meaning I can go back and look at how my server looked exacly for the past 10 days. Hdup appears to do backups rather.
db
Althought bit -> bit backups are nice, I need to do this daily. Dirvish is similar to what I am looking for. I would like to take a snapshot of our server daily and keep several past snapshots. It seems that all of the snapshot tools don't provide any options for a samba mount. They treat a samba mount like a local drive and the results are not as one would want over the network.
What happened to the day when you could travel accross the nation and almost all the cell towers would work with your phone? Sure you would pay alot to roam, but you were at least able to make a call.
Now Joe's GSM phone won't work in Steve's TDMA area. Can't we all just get along?:) db
I was the original poster. Sorry, it completly slipped my mind. I knew where I got it from, but somewhere in between pasting from dslreports.com I forgot to credit them. They deserve it.
He tried. He released a new version of the xbox. Something in the kernel changed. Now you can use the same mods as before! just need a new bios on it.

Logitech use to make them. I am not sure if they still do (doubt it). It was black and white and about 6in wide. I never really liked it much, the software sucked at combining multiple swipes into one fluid page. It was TWAIN compatible.
If you do manage to find one, I am sure it will run on the linux distro that I know you have on your Mac:)
Isn't it just as much your right to be not seen as it is to seen?
Wearing black such that people can not see you is just the same as blinding a camera.
As sad as I am to say, until now nothing has really competed with IE. Mozilla is nice (as I am using it right now) but it is big and bloaty.
Perhaps this is finally a solution that is as reliable (hmm) as the MS browser and as quick (hmmm).
If the sites are domestic why not shut them down rather than restrict constitutional rights?
On another note, if they are not domestic, does the person posting them have the freedom to speech? doubt it.
I feel that many more people would use OSX if they could experiment with it without buying expensive hardware.
Building your own mac is a step in the right direction, perhaps an open architecure. I know I would love to try OS X, as I feel it is far superior to windows from what I have seen. But I will never pay the $$ needed to try it. Oh well, I guess KDE will do.

UIUC does provide web pages still, new wireless access in almost all university buildings. Connected enough for me.
What other solution lets you play music in linux? None so far. At least when I download my unusable music I do it with a better interface.

Doesn't EVERYBODY have 100gb of 'something special' or is that just me.
Why would the RIAA care? First, the A in RIAA America (ok, the second A). Also, do they not want people trading legally? I see no wrong doing in this.

You can get alot for $500, but not much for $150.
Note: I had a list of each component but the lame filter didn't like it
The cheapest price you can get on pricewatch is $172. Would you really want to use a duron850 with 128mb on a pos mobo for a media center?

The price of the xbox is believed to drop to $150 after turkey day. Even better. db
(Yet another search engine) Do we really need another one. Google rocks, nuff said.

For those of you looking for it's main page, it is. http://www.mozilla.org/projects/phoenix/ You can download from there.

Lets hope we don't have to decided what is a 0 and 1 is a one in the binary sequence. Those are sometimes easily confused.
Now i can make my engine rev to the beat of my music. No need to pump the breaks!

Building the hardware isn't my speciality, but a word of advice. Watch out for the M$ virus. Linux seems to remove it.
But is gamecube powerful enough to play these classics? Doubt it :)
