I have a 20 GB tape backup unit, but RAID-1 is cheaper AND more convenient -- the disk costs about what the backup tapes for that size drive would cost!
I thought for sure it would be the long-awaited FreeBSD 5.0
What makes this particularly newsworthy? NetBSD has had such a list for ages (http://www.netbsd.org/contrib/hardware.html)
It's nice to see Plato getting its due at last. I spent a lot of time on Plato from 1983 to 1987 or '88, including programming in Tutor.
yes, they still haven't posted them and I've gotten no response to my inquiries as to when they will be available.
