Actually Nemsis was released within 5 days of the Two Towers. That was the biggest mistake Paramount made.

I think you missed the point of this post. He was saying, there was no one to buy support from for these products. So there is no choice to be made except to keep a developer on staff to deal with it.

  3. Re:Enterprise politically correct? on Stargate SG-1 Gets A Seventh Season · · Score: 1

I think Enterprise is taking more efforts to interconnect the stories than any Trek series sans since DS9. Look at how the effects of Minefield where tied into the eposide about the repair facility as a great example this season. Also, the end of Shockwave actually impressed me as well.. Normally Trek wraps up the episode in the last 10 minutes with a big fight and then a short talk in the last 30 seconds. This one, they actually took the time to address Enterprise's mission and have T'Pol stand up for the crew and then ahve that dialog in their cabin. It really added a suttle depth to the episode that you don't usually see in Trek 2 parters. Granted I agree it would have been cool to make Archer be trapped in the future, I don't know how effective a story that really would ahve been. What to see him for 3 weeks bumbling around with Daniels trying to dig up dirt to find some technology to get home? The only thing that bored the sh*t out of my about the episode was the Enterprise being captured and their little escape. I've seen that enough in Trek, but I guess they had to do it..

Actually I remember only MSNBC being able to cope with 9/11 quickly. CNN was so hard to get to for a long time. Eventually they had to manuall create a stripped down version of the site.
