I bought my xo for exactly the type of thing that you are asking about. It's display is really well suited for reading ebooks, it's sunlight readable and 200dpi. I get around 5 - 6 hours of reading time when I turn everything off and put the display into low power(ebook) mode. The processor in it isn't the beefiest a 433mhz amd geode, but you can browse the web with it. I think they usually go for ~$200 on ebay.
From what I understand in the artical a fansubbing group was still distributing an anime that was licensed by an American(?) distributor. What about anime not controlled by American companies? Wouldn't unlicensed anime be regulated by laws of the country the controlling company was based (japan)? What are the japanese laws on copyright? Overall I think the/. blurb was misleading and the artical poorly written. Could someone explain what the problem is? We already knew it was illegal to distrubte licensed anime, what about the episode of Naruto that I am going to watch tomorrow?
UV paint for casemodding has been around for a while too. I'm sitting here looking at a can 'Black Light Accent Paint' made by pcToys that I bought almost two years ago. I think it cost about $5 when I bought it.
"How is it intuitive to a new user of Linux. There is a very strong possiblity that that new user has used MS Windows."
intuitive - derived from or prompted by a natural tendency
How would having previously used Windows have anything to do with Gnome not being intuitive? Are you speaking of the fact that maybe Windows useres have *learned* a certain behavior form the window manage and therefore expect that in Gnome? If someone who has never used a computer before can sit down in front of it and quickly figure it then its intuitive.
"How about an undo command for moving files around? Or renaming? No? I didn't think so."
Well actually, if you want to talk about using windows with explorer. If you rename or move a file a simple right click undo or ctrl-z will undo it.

It was called Shark! Shark! on the Intellivision. I never owned the cart but I've wasted many hours playing the rom.
