Yep, the DPI setting was the problem. THANKS but now I am addicted to FireFOX. (goodbye IE)
Just for the moron that told me not to surf at the full width... it didn't matter. Full width or not the graphics looked like hell. As soon as I set the DPI to normal the trouble went away.
As a person who recently switched to FireFox I would like to offer my 0.02
-I knew about tab browsing but kept using IE
-I knew about pop-up blocking but installed the google toolbar.
-I knew Mozilla was probably better at a lot of things but kept using IE
Why? It wasn't broke and I knew how to use it. This is really important for understanding why so many "Joes" are using IE. When does someone replace a Microwave Oven? When a new one with cool features comes out or when the old one breaks...
Why Did I switch? IE finally broke when I got a system with 1920x1200 resolution (IE rendering at that res really sucks)
Bottom Line: As more things break IE more people will look for something to switch to.
Yes I admit it. I one of those people who has always just used IE because it was there. Not even tabbed browsing got my attention. So what made me change?
I just got a new laptop with one of those wide screens. With the resolution set to 1920x1200 (recommended) IE just does not render correctly. Websites with graphics just look like hell in IE at this resolution. I installed Firefox and the sites look great.
Do I have something set wrong in IE or is this just one of the many short comings?
$490 Million may seem like a lot of money but to DoD its not that much....
$490 Million, gets maybe 2-3 Stealth Bombers or 15-20 Apache Helos... and of course this contract is stretched over a long time period, so do the math....
One Tomahawk missile costs 1 Million dollars. How many of them have we shot at worthless targets over the past year???
I hate to break this too you, but making a helicopter immunue to firearms makes it too heavy to fly.
Until there is a MAJOR advancement in bulletproof composites helicopters will continue to be brought down by simple bullets.
Lets not even talk about what happeneds when bullets engage the rotor system.
( a simple rock thrown into a rotor blade will make a hole which will cause an inbalance in the system...)
Ever try to navigate off a map in the middle of a desert. Its a lot harder than you might think since there are no permanent terrain features to reference. Wanna make it harder? Try doing 25 ft off the ground traveling at 125mph.
The reason we manuvered through the desert so quickly? GPS!

Who runs Bartertown?
Just more proof that they don't make them like they use to.
I have had my HP15C since 1986 and it is still going strong. (its even gone with me on my Army deployments with no trouble)
Whatever you get make sure it has a good shell. These "cheap" impact plastic shells don't seem to take impact all that well.

Why not just pull an office space manuever.
If they treat you like shit then become a turd. Don't work hard, don't finish the unreasonable workload and have a little fun.
Make them go through the paperwork and hassle of slowly removing you while you find another job.
Maybe a work stopping flu could hit your particular group. Everyone calls in sick and then have a LAN party.
Bottom Line: There are ways to let management know your displeasure without quitting. (there are much better ways to hurt management without quitting)
More importantly..
If this is a simulation, where can I find the cheat codes.
Are "rich" and "famous" people just people running cheats in a multiplayer simulation?
