    Why? Because as I've seen first hand time and time again, it's very difficult for people who start out with structured programming to really "get" OOP. So go grab a beginner's book on Java, C#, or even Python. Another suggestion would be to pursue projects that you are interested in. If you like video games, get a guide to videogame programming, or find any of the many scriptable games on the net (unreal, Terrarium (c# .net)). If you are into media player type apps, find an open source one and start hacking it. Or, if you want to start making useful applications for yourself, try creating some sort of simple program to catalogue your books, movies, music etc...

    There is chat, and then there is chat in a specific context. MSN is fine for chatting with my co-workers, but Yahoo is better for chatting if I am trying get a date. There is no one-purpose-serves-all protocal.. sorry. Bad Idea... I can't wait to see what picks up the slack.

    Anxiety disorders are typically "ruled in" after doing all sorts of tests first to look for other serious medical issues that may cause similar symptoms. Having an MRI's and seeing a neurologist, visiting an E.N.T., and visiting a cardiologist can often be the path taken before a Dr. rules in an anxiety disorder (unless of course it's totally obvious, which it isn't a lot of the time).

    Have you noticed all of the post-fertilization gender and genetic defect selection stories over the past year? I have, and I think of that movie every time. Btw, I love that movie as well. It has a lot of fantastic symbolism in it. One of my favorite is the use of the term invalid (think of the other way you can pronounce that word).

    You are missing the point. Blindly upscaling isn't going to give you the best picture. All HDTVs will upscale the image for you, yet there is a HUGE market for upscailing DVD players. Why? Because all upscailing isn't equal. Go read the HTPC forums on www.avsforum.com .

    Ever seen an upscailing DVD player? They are sold all over the place and for big bux. Same idea. It's about trying to make the image look the best that it can on a HD display. Simply blindly upsampling produces a bad image. This is old news.
