    Look; don't get me wrong. No country wants to let in hordes of convicted criminals/terrorists/whatever;

    It's pretty well known that Canada takes in foreign criminals, terrorists, and et cetera.

    The same thought occured to me. Perhaps it run a bit differently here in Canada as well. Since not all regions are covered, you simply pick which region you want to be in. I can't get a number for where I live, but I can get a number for two major cities around me. Downside to that though is any call a person makes to me would end up becoming long distance to them whereas I could get a package with unlimited North American long distance for a decent rate.

    This does apply to just more than Europe though. In Canada our Conservatives are seen similar to that of the Democrats in the US.

    I'm an American, and I think Canada is better. Too bad it's so cold or I'd move there. Really. On average I see 3 days of snow a year. That's hardly cold. Although this winter we actually did get a big snowfall which shut things down for a day, but that was replaced with 10+C temperatures. Even the ski hills here have had to close because it's too warm and there's no snow.

    After reading this, it's no wonder a lot of the world hates the States. It's those of you who have no respect for other cultures/nations/etc. that are causing it. Not saying that the states is the only country that does this though. I've known Canadians too who have done this (although the states is a lot bigger, therefore being heard more); it sicken's me how ignorent people are. I do not believe /. was created with the intent of having flame wars like "my country's better than yours". I'd be surprised if this reply does not get any "childish" responses.
