I've never liked SuSE. And not because it's a bad distro or because it needs a quite powerfull computer to work fine. It's beacause of that damn sick green. I meen come on...it makes me feel like a pacient. Anyone else got that feeling?
If you think about it, linux had a lot of bugs that consisted a security risk. Rps, statd, apache, ssh, etc. were exploited succesfully to gain unauthorised root acces.
So I wonder (using your logic, of course) why do people still use linux???
You can bash Microsoft all you want, but remember it takes a real man to make any of their products work, and a god to make them do something usefull...

Try teaching your 42 years old father to use KDE. Than talk about Linux being ready for "The Desktop"
