It's not. I saw an article like on 20/20 or something where they showed the shed where he was building the thing... The kid was completely open about the whole thing, too.
We had an NT 3.51 box running on an Alpha 2100 that was up for 3 years solid. And the only reason it went down was because a drive failed (it was RAID 5) but when we did the drive didn't auto rebuild for some reason, and the array software wasn't installed, so we had to reboot and fix it through the CMOS. Not bad for NT huh? Typical of MS, though. More features, more bugs, more reboots.
Clinton only had 43% of the vote. He didn't have anywhere near a majority. Does that mean we should have had a runoff? No. It hinges on the electoral college which is used to give the smaller states a little extra "voting power" with their ratio of Senators to congressmen being much higher... (every state has two).
Insane? The only insane thing in this world anymore is not standing up for what you believe in.
The U.S. forefathers went through a Revolution over taxes and stamps and tea and other what we would call "stupid" stuff today. The difference was that they were willing to DIE for what they believe in.
It's not the MILLIONS of NRA members that are insane. It's the few people who call NRA members insane that are "insane".

You obviously aren't from America, are you boy? There's two reasons for owning a gun. 1. Hunting. 2. Defense (there's a reason no one has ever attempted to invade the U.S.) And don't tell me about nukes, because if it gets to that, then you can kiss this whole planet goodbye and this whole conversation is irrelevant anyway. It's also a different culture. Agree with it or not, the fact remains that it does exist. Also, in America, we still have large areas of rural populations (countryside, etc) where owning and using a gun is a way of life. You use it to hunt and defend youself. Plain and simple. You don't rely on the police to save your butt when you get in trouble. You rely on yourself - self-Reliance. Independence. Freedom. Kinda boils down to why America is America.
BTW: This discussion should return to the discussion at hand - censorship.
To the Auzzies, I would say "stand up" and fight the government for what you feel is right, but how the hell can you have a revolution or fight back when you DON'T HAVE GUNS to fight back with?
