1) I'm not sure about the scope of their contribution with respect to making a better OS -- please correct me if I'm wrong.
2) I have no idea what "intellectual property " means. Thank Gods J.S.Bach (and sequel) cannot sue us for composing music.
It might be the case that we're wittnessing the extinction of a species. Usually the task of writing this kind of litterature is left upon random marketoids. As a shareholder, I'd be scared to see the CEO so personnally involved.
