"" Well some of us atheists use 'evil' as a term of judgement, meaning 'immoral'""
""Oh, and atheists do often believe that some things are right and other things are wrong""
"But I don't see where such concepts such as "right" and "wrong" can come from in a pure atheistic mentality. Why would something be "right" or "wrong" if everything is _only_ a sophisticated collection of atoms. Why are the atoms of a carbon-based form of more worth than silicon?"
Right and wrong are not physical things, they are mental things. How we got here doesn't matter. Just because I don't believe in any gods does not mean that I believe that it is O.K. to kill murder or maim. An athiest is not necessarily an anarchist.
In the time before cell phones, it wasn't as easy to digitally record every conversation that you have. If my wife calls about a personal emergency, I really don't want it to be common knowledge by the owners of the company. The company does not OWN me, and if I need to take 5 or 10 minutes to talk to my family about something, I am damn sure going to do that. They are batting arround the same policy here (no cell phones) and when that happens, I will find other employment. In the current environment, where there are many people for each job, it is easy for companies to push this type of B.S. policy, but that by a long shot doesn't make it correct.
Where did you live again, and what car do you drive? I would really like to try that out:)
What about a simple home page?

The way I read it, this would cover a home page as well, as it offers customers (family) access to information (your pictures of the kids, blogs, whatever). Does this make sense to anyone else?
When ever I chose to recite the Pledge, I just left that part out, as I am an atheist. What would be the problem with those who don't want to say it, or if they want to say "under gods" or "under buddah"?
If they have to recite the "under god" part when they recite the Pledge, then I say don't allow the Pledge to be recited at all.
Unfortunately, due to hazy and unclear laws on what is considered to be unauthorized access in regards to computers and all things computer related, it is very likely that this technology (screen scrapers) can be considered "hacking" and the person/company who does it can be prosecuted.
Is what we need is a much better definition of what is considered unauthorized access (if you spend 23 hours trying to guess my username and password and do it, that is unauthorized in my opinion, if I put a click through on my site that says only people who love science fiction can access the site, yet you hate science fiction but are doing a report on it so you click through to see what I have to say, that is not).
I wish I had mod points for you. Nicely stated.

Doesn't Europa lie in the Van Allen belts of Jupiter, so it is already getting large amounts of radiation?
