I completely agree. I have used MANY RDBMS systems, but SQL Server is hands down the best I've had the pleasure of dealing with. It has a wonderful balance of stability and features that make it a blessing to work with.
And as another poster said, yes, the tools kick ass.
Come on, kids. It's not the 80s anymore (though, I'm willing to bet the guys at AT&T Research labs aren't kids, and they actually might remember when/etc was the best place to put those things... but it's not anymore... especially not on freebsd!
