  1. The only surprise on What the Candidates are Running · · Score: 0

I have to say the only one that surprised me was Lieberman. It makes total sense for Bush, Gephardt to run windows. It make sense gor Edwards to kinda hide that he is running IIS. It makes complete sense for Dean and Carol Mosley-Braum to be runnin FreeBSD. Al Sharpton "Which one of these is not like the others..." Clark (and the Army that raised him) rely on Linux. Kerry and Kucinich are playing things safe and mainstream liberal. But how did Lieberman choose FreeBSD? -Jaxn

When we recieved our trademark we were told that it needs to be everywhere we say Emma. So it was actually our lawyers. Luckily for me the whole thing is templated and branded, so I didn't have to do anything to make the change and our designer only made the change in one place. -Jackson

I am the sole developer of just such a project.
I have just hired a second developer. So we solidly fall under the 1-2 developers. We have about 100,000 lines of PHP code (+/- a few thousand).

What's more is that we have been scaling this app not only to handle heavier load over more distributed systems, but doing it really fast under the gun.

This is the problem with virtually all anti-spam measures implemented with technology. There is a unacceptably large possibility for innocent people to be hurt.

While there has yet to be an end-all solution proposed in any legislative body, legal consequences are a very legitimate method for curbing at least a portion of the spam problem.

I agree that the internet is made for searching. Also, with engines like feedster.com popping up, searching != google. I do still use books though. Books are a great way to go through a linear learning process. Since I learn from books I often return to books when I want to remember something that I have already "learned". -Jaxn
