It's the Windows admin fault. Probably a virgin OS without a single patch.
And if he doesn't know how got hacked, he doesn't know much about Windows security.
It doesn't hurt to try. If we sit and say spammers will find a way around it everytime some new antispam idea comes out, the spammers will prevail. At least it will drive some spam away.. if not much of it. I don't really care which anstispam technology is going to be used but at least something needs to get implemented and overtime it's going to get imrpoved and better. Nothing starts as perfect the very first time.
When someone buys a PC, all they ask is "Does it come with Windows?" If yes, then conversation closed. They don't ask if a media player or wordpad or a browser are included. They know Windows comes with a lot of features and if something is missing they can simply d/l it.

Do you really think you will find a grandma type of user (your cd's intended audience) who will be interested in looking at source code but considered not a geek!?
Your grandma will be interested ONLY in friendy easy to use software. Best of freeware is what you need to do.

You can plug an IP power switch to your computer. If you can't access yor system because the system is CPU loaded, power the computer off/on remotely.
