    Look at countries without healthcare, or even counties in the USA. The death rates are not lower than more urban or industrialized nations.

    Fridge prices remain largely unchanged. Beef has not tripled. You are making stuff up.

    Why would this device not just adjust your glucose levels during the bike ride? I am pretty sure that is exactly what it would do in that situation.

    Depends on the cause of the blackout.
    Here, our last days long blackout took out anything that needed wires. This is because it was an ice storm that took down wiring as well as trees which took out more wiring. POTS was not fully restored until after power was. This is because the power company had to replace poles before the Telco could string new wires.

    I will be getting one of those this year if only so I can rewatch the Dr Who 50th in 3D. I intended to buy a bigger TV anyway and adding in 3D is pretty cheap.

    To be a reasonable person here, if you are using that TV as a monitor you would sit the same distance.

    Even if you are using it as a TV, my couch is not bolted to my living room floor, I doubt yours is either.

    I would rather have a slightly larger phone. I am not going to carry a tablet around in public at all times.

    My phone is open to tinkering.
    Heck, Ubuntu for it exists.

    I want both. I might be convinced if all the drivers are in mainline, but we both know that is not the case.

    It would not come close to a 2006 macbook pro.
    ARM cpus are not that performant. Ghz is not something you can compare that way.
