If they will provision on the cable, then run both. You only need to rent the ditch witch for the same amount of time.
Odds are they will not. They will tell you that their coax ends at the road, and they want $XXk to run it to the house. They will have no way of dealing with you running it yourself.
I agree with building out ISP service, but handing the money to private companies is not going to work. They will just steal it and still demand to not be regulated.
I can review the code, it is all there in the open. I can compile it myself if I really cared. You have no way of knowing that iOS is not full of intentional backdoors.
Not really, generally adds a small cost. If you swing it right you can get a "Delta" flight that is actually on Lufthansa planes with Lufthansa crews. Only to Europe of course.
Can't imagine. Surely the EU carriers are even more union friendly. The Germans are big on their unions for sure, and Lufthansa is a great carrier. I bet the Canadians are all unioned up too.
Even the Euro carriers are better than the American ones. I wish we would let foreign carriers compete on flights that have both end points in the USA. Might make them at least consider some customer service.
It does not seem to be a geography problem, Air Canada is fine.
Linux has had plenty of local exploits, I am no blind cheerleader. I just wanted to point out the GP was full of shit.
Every kernel has its flaws. NTs biggest flaw is being strapped to the win user land. The exVMS devs that created itprobably cry themselves to sleep over that tragedy.
I cannot do that, because as United proves "economy plus" means 2 inches more leg room on a plane too old to have any in flight entertainment, worse than average food and flights that never take off on time.
You can do it with less ram, it will just take longer. You can start it off before you go to work, and have it done when you comeback, not like you need to watch it.
Really 16GB of ram is not a big hurdle these days. My desktop has 8GB.
Steve Ballmer's FUD is insofar correct in that if you want to update your Android-phone after the maker and/or carrier abandoned you, you indeed almost need a CS degree to update it on yourself.
My history major girlfriend will be glad to find out she has a CS degree now. She said it was super easy to use a one-click root app then install Rom Manager and have it do all the work for her.
You are right, I mixed up Delta with US Airways.
I thought we were talking about subsidies, where did the theft angle come from?
My mistake, I meant you present a false option.
Lets see some quotes for that.
Not a lot of city folks getting farm subsidies, and welfare rates are pretty high out in the country.
That is just as much a strawman. Living in a society means one way or another people are always subsidizing one another.

Why is that my problem?

Less time then it would take to certify iOS code. Since I can't even get a copy of that.
It can't in this case. The battery will die from heat before the CPU overheats. Batteries are not generally under any warranty/
You have clearly very little experience with these devices.
Please tell me how software on one of these phones would destroy hardware.
Stuxnet infected SCADA systems, these phones have no robot arms to bash into stuff.
12 hours of delays, 3 broken planes.
No sure how the airport would make the planes broken.

KLM was quite good last time I used it as well.
United is totally bottom of the barrel, I bet Aeroflot looks down on them.
I have it at 800Mhz, dropping down to 125Mhz. It is not as speedy as some newer phones out there, but it seems to be fine.
Can't wait to get a Galaxy Nexus, or something like that though.
She flashed an OS after the root. Meaning the rootkit would be gone.
You sound like the MK# idiot when you use that word.
Can't imagine.

That does not help the food situation or the ancient plane problem. Avoiding US airlines generally does.

No, this is a non-US carrier. They tend to be a little better, small seats but nicer lighting, decor, entertainment and food.

So flash back to stock if you need to return it.
Honestly we need the law to step up here, changing the software should not violate a warranty on hardware.
