The problem is the possible cost to the community is so high it might as well be 0. By that I mean if the possible cost is 1000 times what the plant is worth, it makes it less important to add more safety than if the possible loss was 0.5 times the value of the plant. In the latter case they might actually have to pay. So knowing they can't be made to pay they can take larger risks.
The Germans are notoriously picky about that sort of thing. Give us the number, or compare it to the levels allowed for a French nuclear worker or a US nuclear worker. Of course livestock are being destroyed, they can no longer be sold and as such are not worth feeding. It is not still burning, and it will not make it through the concrete slab. That is why it is the last level of containment. This was a huge disaster but there is no need to act like it is the end of Japan. It still has not killed anyone, and probably never will.
Yeah, radiation is tragic. Like that time we used it to kill the cancer that would have killed my grandmother. That was truly tragic, oh wait no the complete fucking opposite.
Even Chernobyl did not cause the level of issues you are claiming.
That is a delivery issue, unless the invoice in the box says "Broken Glass".
Delivery is a separate issue. I will admit I hate it when they use some local third rate carrier. They never leave the package and are impossible to get a hold of.
If this was a record that would be correct. As this is not a record that is not what it means. In this case it means a gold master was made for the DVD production run.
That is not a delivery issue. That is a mislabeled product. A low review for that is expected. A delivery issue would be you complaining it took 3 days instead of two for you to get it, or that the fedex man destroyed the package.

I am too, I would hope they are using wastewater if at all possible. Using a closed loop ammonia cooling system, that you "charge" with cold at night would also be neat. Not practical though.
We aren't spending that money, just co-signing the loan. If you want a good ration of money spent to people getting paychecks we should just put everyone on welfare.
How do you plan on reducing the cost of mirrors? Because those are the only panels in a molten-salt plant like this.
These "Greens" are not one big group sharing a hive brain. There are lots of viewpoints. Personally I would love to see something like this take off. We have lots of deserts that are pretty much unlivable and would be finally put to good use. At the same time I think we should prevent any new coal plants from being built. Nuclear might have a little issue every couple decades, but coal kills people and destroys air quality all the time. Then for extra fun every couple decades it destroys large area when a slurry ponds break.
It does not matter if they modify or not. If they distribute GPL binaries, which they do they, they must provide source.
Also they do modify it, often by including drivers or driver stubs so they can keep the drivers closed. I wish google would require contributing open drivers to the android project to get market access.
When you write a kernel and have it installed on everything from phones to mainframes, you can decide what the version numbering means. Linus can decide tomorrow to call it Linux 666 and it will still be used.
Sure you describe a fairly typical situation, but not one that is anywhere near universal.
This is why when I use those services I exclude any tickets from US carriers. I have no problem paying $1300 instead of $1200 for tickets that give me a seat fit for my 5'7" frame and edible food. How bigger folks manage, I do not understand.
Your comment said Radiation, it did not exactly seem to differentiate.

You cringe to think of the 0 people who will be seriously impacted?
Is that because it hurts your nutbag talking points?

Had you tried typing into google you would have gotten this information.
After 15 years?
Sounds more like a really slow job. Outside the slashdot audience I wonder if anyone even remembers Duke Nukem.

Someone is new here.
Water and sand will also scratch the mirror. Silica is damn abrasive.

No, you can use air or some sort of wiper mechanism. Lots of ways to deal with this problem if getting water is that hard.

I have 2.6 machines that have been up for years, no they don't have access to the internet.
No, that is wrong. Get a better filesystem.

Not well, but it runs.
Should have seen Priest. Great action film, and 3d was used pretty tastefully. No tossing things at the audience ala Jaws 3d.
Even an old PS2 will do 16x9 over component cables. How old is your dvd player?
I weigh a 130lbs. So not a girth issue.
Don't fly on AA, avoid United as well. Delta is the least bad US carrier, but they still suck compared to foreign carriers.
