Some old *sheet* music may be in the public domain, but a recording's copyright starts when the recording was released, not when the piece was composed.
And the classical musicians making money from those recordings are quite likely not the multi-millionaires of pop music. They are more likely trying to support a family on $30,000 a year. So if you believe it's OK to pirate music just to "stick it to the rich whining music biz" then classical recordings are probably the LAST thing worthwhile to pirate.
Not that Netscape 4.79 even remotely compares with the standards-compliant page rendering of Phoenix/Mozilla.
Netscape 4.79 was released in Nov. 2001 and still pretty much based on the rendering technology from 4.5--released Oct. 1998. And was at least two years behind in the compliance department then?
I'll wait the extra second or two and sacrifice the extra few megs of memory on my PII-300.
