    1) Its an unmanned bomber -- not a fighter.

    2) Grumman had no buissiness trying to build cars. Thier knowledge is in airplanes. They have been doing that for a very long time.

    Examples:

F4 Wildcat -- The fighter at the time of midway
Avenger torpedo bomber -- The most successful WWII torpedo bomber
F6 Hellcat -- Best Naval Fighter of WWII
    F9 Panther -- Korean War Fighter/Bomber
A6 Intruder and varients -- Vietnam Era Attack Aircraft
F-14 Tomcat -- One of the best naval fighters of the modern era.
E2-C (And soon to be E2-D) Hawkeye -- AEW aircraft.

And I'm not even counting the northrop aircraft.

I think that they have more than enough experience. If you want to see everthing that they have had thier hands in in aviation go to

I don't think that books should be the only solution but I agree that books have been underused as of late. With the push to distance learning and computer aided learning books have been treated as obsolete. This really shouldn't be the case. I have had classes that have done a good job of mixing traditional lecture/book learning with computer aided learning and have enjoyed them the most.

Here is a good idea. Have the subscribers that can see the article early provide dupe moderation. If two or three subscribers mark it as a dupe then it won't make it to the front page until it is verified as an original story by the editors. Or if the editors wish to still have it posted it can be done with an update category so that those of us uninterested can filter them.
