  1. I can understand the companies on Copyright and the Games Industry · · Score: 1

I can understand square/enix, the developers of this "fan-sequel" tried to get fame for doing another chrono trigger. Chrono Trigger is a brand, it was probably the most famous rpg on the snes. Square build up this brand, why should they let somebody else make use of it? The creators of the chrono sequel could have also made their own rpg, but probably noone would care, so they make a rpg in the chrono trigger scenario, so they get world famous for doing the chronotrigger sequel. You know if you want to make a game related to a film, like batman, you also need to pay the licence holders of batman money, for creating a game with the tag "batman". And above else this game could also be a bad game and would damage the brand then, which would lead to less income for square, which square needs to be able to exist.

Concerning the shift key on the right side :
I use both shift keys ...
I learned typing that way :
when the letter is on the right side of the keyboard i use the left shift key.
if it's on the left side ... :)
So, this key is not redundant for me.

    >Are users dumber than they were 23 years ago?

Of course not, it's just that everyone is used to windows nowadays.
23 years ago there was no other possibility than learning how to use certain commands ...
nowadays you can use windows and can setup everything by a few mouseclicks ...
there's no reason to switch over to another OS that is currently inferior concerning the applications for the average user (grafics, games, mediaplayers ever seen a dvd player for linux packaged on a cd for your soundcard or dvd drive ?) and you have probably to invest a lot of time in it just in order to be able to do the things you can do in windows ... maybe you have some more computerbackround now ... but if computer is not your hobby why should you put in so much effort into linux ?

"Too much" it self puts a negative meaning on everything. Each of your sentences can be generalized to "Too much is bad", and that phrase is redundant in itself, because too much is always bad.
