Sorry, I missread that. 4 coins in the present system...

Incidently, it would take 80 coins if the system was 1, 81, 82. 1, 40, 41 isn't an evenly distributed arrangement. 1, 5, 10, 25 is (with the dime thrown in for good measure.) I don't think the parent exclaimed that "Starting with the biggest coin" was a generic statement, only that it makes sense in an evenly distributed arrangement, which is what we have.

Maybe "evenly distributed arrangement" isn't the right term, I'm not a mathmatician...

The main problem I see with an 18 cent coin is that it is not evenly divisable by the the number of fingers (most) people have.

Um, I think this was called Ultimate TV, which competed directly with the Tivo DirecTV box, and did not "roll over" anything, unless you count rolling over and playing dead...

This is because you get a discounted phone from Sprint for signing that 1 year contract. If you buy the phone for full price, you don't have to sign the contract. My ADT security system works the same way (3 year contract there).

I noticed playing with the office 2k3 beta that microsoft has a new "PDF like" format called a .mdi (microsoft document image) file. I wonder if it might do well, considering how badly Adobe Acrobat works with Office documents.

Sure you can buy singles. They cost $17.99 and they have 9 "B-side" songs on them.

    Actually, sometimes they're all B-sides...
