There is no reason whatsoever to delist the stock; it (probably) wasn't its (the company) idea to run a pump-and-dump scam. What the market authorities CAN do is to halt trading in the stock for a while, say 72 hours, which leaves the scam artists (who had to acquire shares of the company they intended to pump, then dump) with a bunch of stock they could not dump. After 72 hours (or however long) the potential buyers would long since have forgotten the "upside potential" of the pumped stock.

So I went to the site. And I looked over the various topics. And I decided on the following:
"Current Topics for Orange badge alumnis"

    And chose the thread:
"pergorative treatment of the orange order"

    All this just for S&G.

Are all the ex-oranges who post simply illiterate? Do they not know that the plural of "alumni" is; well, there ain't no plural: "alumni" is the plural of "alumnus" (I'm certain that all /.ers know this). And "pergorative"! Yes indeed, now there is one fine word! I bet that "transition" used as a verb simply trips from their tongues and keyboards.

I had forgotten just what torture it is dealing with this younger generation! (I was one of those elderly gentlemen (with acid tongue) who fixed all that fine COBOL code during the Y2K madness. One of those elderly gentlemen who learned to speak English.)

"rootkit"? Who cares? It's a wondrous technical term that means, well, it means something. I might even care if I needed to know.

What I did (and sorta still) need to know is what a "foreign SMTP server" is. It shows up in fuck-knows how many reject slips from you-name-it email servers. Like a complete idiot I googled the term (complete with "meaning" and/or "definition" or whatever) and never did find out what the son of a bitch means.

OK, I pretty much know that "foreign" means "not domestic", and that "domestic" refers to "here" (read: "local, under my immediate control"); but, my point is that I wanted to know what it means and I still have no idea. So much for having a common term show up in a glossary or a lexicon that is searchable (or findable) by the ubiquitous Google.

Hey, I now know what a "rootkit" is: kit=undersized fur-bearing animal + root=underground portion of a plant. (AHD3) I'm not really certain what all this has to do with computers but I see the term tossed about all the time these days, so I'm sure it belongs in the dictionary.

Well, the boys may be OK at the prose part of reporting; but, the event photos ....... well, it's just not a very good idea to post a pic of a guy at the lectern that weighs in at 1850.91 KB (coar.png) for a 450x338 image! "American Beauty" is all done and "Workingman's Dead" is just about to give up and the page still isn't completely rendered. Yikes!
