They've added a few features since the 7.0x releases (for Windows), which is really nice, but I find that the biggest difference is the quality. They've really taken the time to polish their product a lot. Sure, some bug remain. Overall, though, I find that it's just very enjoyable to use.

Same here. Back in about 1993 I thought the old game Frogger (I played it on the Vic 20) would be awesome if it was remade in FPS style. Then Nintendo did it. I guess I should have been wearing aluminum foil on my head to keep them from reading my mind.
I could be wrong, but I think VHS tapes face the same type of levy as CR-Rs and any other blank medium. I believe the Copyright Act allows any forms of blank media to be subject to a levy. At least audio media.
Explains why they kept the version number... fixed version of 'Nullsoft MPEG Audio Decoder' (in_mp3.dll) is 2.81b
Yeah, but the About dialog for the plugin says Copyright 1998-2001. Has this been fixed for a year, or did they forget to update the copyright information?
Also, Opera still doesn't display my ISP's homepage properly. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release :-).
Why is this assumed to be Opera's fault? Have you tried encouraging your ISP to use cleaner HTML? I had a quick look; it could be stand to be Tidied.

Either way, we're hosed.
