You know I find it truely amazing this country of ours... United States of america. We have parents, people and stores always trying to make them selves the good guys. Reguardless of what the game is because personally I cold care less, Let me just ask one simple question, What kind of world do we live in when parents buy games, rent/buy movies, buy toys that show, have, or its sole purpose is to blow a whole in someone's chest and would rather not warrent thier kids to see someone's chest? Because walmart, toysRus and Kaybee all are "family stores", where the "family" (Which is another subject I will not get into with the divorce rate, single parents, etc..), can come in and feel like a second home. This is supposidly what the parents want and the sheltered people in our society crave fro thier children. Store owners and CEO's of the big three are not stupid and also realize that by saying they will not carry it will make those "sheltering parents" will bring those patrons into the store. They also realize that the people who so disire the game will go someoplace else and not even think twice about running inot one of those stores later on.
Now, in a world today that is so dam politically correct its annoying and where most, not all, can not even except responsibilitiy for thier own actions, we are getting a little ridiculous. I mean, for heaven sake, peopel now sueing fast food resturaunts for getting fat eating thier food. Well no kidding really, first of all they did not shove that food down your throat and second, you have to be a complete idiot to not be aware that they use the cheapest stuff and cook it in grease! (everything is good in moderations)
Now, viloence is condoned but having sex is not! Are we a war mongling species or what, folks. First of all, I think the naked body is one of the most beautiful things in the world. There is millions of years of evolution at work here. Your body is the best tool you will ever own. Name something else that can accomplish the same tasks. The answer is Nothing! Sex is also a beautiful thing. Now I am not religious and yes I have had more partners than some porn stars, however I take the necessary percautions. My parents left those "forbidden" magizines, all around the house along with allowing me to help myself with the liquor cabinet. Now witht hat in mind and for you small minded fools who think I turned out wrong, I got nothing but great marks in school and in college, and yes I did finish college unlike the majority of our kids today. I graduated with a computer science degree, I am in shape, excersise daily, and make 6 figures a year. I think I turned out okay and my parents also think the same.
Now what does my long drawn out story have to do ith the tea in china. Its this simple, if you do not like, do not buy it, do not picket your ass in the font fo the store saying you will not buy the item. who cares, all the labels on the package are indicated for you so that will tell you if you believe it is appropriate.
When I went to college, I meet this kid who was in my suite that was 20 years old. He could not do aything without mommy or daddy. He did not know what was going on the world, how the world operated or anything.. Basicaly he could not function outside his microcasim and his parents sheltered him. Wehn we took him to the grocery store one day he started to cry almost becaue we all split up and went shopping for our own stuff and agreed to meet back in 15 minutes. He did not even know how to do that. Now is that the type of kids you want to raise. people who can not think!
Bottom line is big business dicates what the consumer does, so GROW UP! Prove to them you can care less what you carry. Now I am also not saying that chuckie cheese should have a porno mag rack either! I am just saying be real, who cares what the content of the game is, walmart elcetronics is in the buisiness of supplying software to people, supply it, you donot like it, donot buy the dam things for your kids. Its not like they are gonna paste nudy pictures all over it! Jyust what kind of place do we live in where violence is better than nudity. The day, walmart takes thier guns out of thier sporting goods section, and toysRus, kay be and walmart again, remove thier toy squirt guns and cap guns out of toys is the day I truely belive they do something for thier beliefs rather than thier wallets and make the small minded american public think they are a good company. Now mind you I am not calling everyone small minded, just the idiots that are and can not connect the dots.
