    He's talking about NASA administrator Charles Bolden's comments in 2010 that Obama charged him as his “foremost” mission to improve relations in the Muslim world. I am no fan of the pres but even I have to assume that Bolden was talking out of his ass and whatever Obama said to him was taken out of context.

    That depends on your definition of "domination." The time period you list did include a majority of Dems; however the filibuster allows the minority party to dominate anyway.

    If stealing wasn't "tolerated" even if not encouraged or condoned (yes, I'm asserting that toleration and condoning aren't the same), then they'd have policies and procedures in place that would try to eliminate it. Instead, they pretend it doesn't happen and marginalize anyone who claims otherwise.

    So, apparently you have read the TSA policies and procedures. Right!

    Actually, numerous TSA agents *have* been caught stealing passengers' belongings, smuggling drugs, intimidating innocents, and other "thuggish behavior." The term is justified in this case, just like calling someone a troll isn't name-calling if that's really what they're doing.

    Because some TSA agents are stealing or smuggling, it does not mean that TSA agents as a class are "government thugs," which implies that the government condones their thuggish behavior.

    Have you not seen the reports of thefts by TSA agents?

    Because some TSA agents are stealing, it does not mean that TSA agents as a class are "government thugs," which implies that the government condones their thuggish behavior. Have you not seen the reports that the thieves are no longer employed by TSA?

    How would you have people spend their time? Ploughing the earth? Building a space elevator? Giving you a massage?

    I think watching professional sports is one of the least destructive forms of entertainment available, and encourages people to do physical things that benefit their health. I also greatly appreciate the mental health benefits that result from this activity, and continue to be in complete awe of the discipline, skill and mental strength of certain specific professional sportsmen, who bring all of those things together into moments of raw artistry.

    I bet you hate mechanical watches too.

    Well, you are DEAD wrong in your guesses. People are welcome to spend their time how they see fit. Personally, I find watching overpaid mutants competing to be quite a bore. To consider watching professional sports a form or culture or art is laughable. Obese couch-surfers loafing all day cheering for "our team" while a few dozen actually get exercise is not encouraging shit. I didn't say PLAYING sports was for sub-80 IQ, I said WATCHING sports was. I also LOVE mechanical watches.
