You think that's bad? I had to go to the doctor the other day, and he was all "Well, let's cure that cancer of yours" (or whatever it was) and I was like "Hold on a moment, do you know Bresenham's line algorithm?
Would you believe he didn't? I had to NOT merely describe the algorithm, AND explain how to use sign changes and axies swaps to ensure any line could be drawn, but even what a damned BITMAP was. I walked right out, I wasn't going to trust HIM to heal my brain tumor.
Also the so-called plumber didn't know what a singleton was. I'm getting impatient now, I've rigged up a siphon to suck water out of the laundy room into the yard, but I haven't found a single pumber yet who knows a damned thing about programming.
I'm surprised that the plumber didn't know that a singleton is a euphemism for #1.
Here we have Republicans supporting consumers over business and small business over big business, which is the exact opposite of what you said.
Oh, you must mean how the Republicans stonewalled on confirmation of a head of the Consumer Protection Bureau.
Hilarious how many "troll" and "flamebait" mods this got - you Republican puppets have a lot of mod points to burn today. OP claimed R's support customers, whereas they have stonewalled the CPB. That is not trolling; that is fact.
Except that the CPB actually is doing that. But why distract you Republicans with the actual facts in reality, when you can just say whatever suits the babbleflow from your talkradio puppeteers?
Wow, the Republican puppets have a lot of mod points today.
Okay, he was on the "right" side of this one issue (OPEN)
Which is ALL I said.
But no. You feel the need to take a swing at the guy because he has an R next to his name while simultaneously defending the current administration for selling guns to Mexican drug cartels because they've all got D's next to theirs.
People like you are what's wrong with this country.
And I didn't just "take a swipe at the guy because he has an R next to his name." I outlined SPECIFIC reasons that I thought he was not "one of the good guys." You are the one swiping at me because I'm not slavering over one of your R's.
Okay, he was on the "right" side of this one issue (OPEN)
Which is ALL I said.

No, it's not ALL you said. You said he was "one of the good guys." And I said that he is not. Being right on one fucking issue does not make him one of the good guys or practically everyone is one of the good guys. And, once again, I DID NOT DEFEND THE GUN THING - RE-READ YOU FUCKING IDIOT.
And the reasons I say Issa is no good guy are:
1) Immediately after the California people re-elected Gray Davis for Governer, he started a multi-million dollar smear campaign to recall Davis so that he could run himself for Governer. After the recall, Arnold entered and Issa was toast.
2) He voted for the Patriot Act and its re-authorization.
3) He signed the "Taxpayer Protection Pledge," promising not to increase taxes no matter what (no matter what = extremism).
4) When he became Chairman of the Government Oversight Committee he bragged that he would bring multiple investigations per week against the Obama administration. Now, I'm all for holding government accountable, but he obviously is just interested in hatchet jobs here to pull down the administration. Bringing down your opposition should not be the purpose of oversight!
5) He intervened on behalf of Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch while on Oversight.
6) He bought and sold over $200 million in Merrill Lynch mutual funds days after the acquisition by B of A, where he intervened in the investigation of that acquisition.
Okay, he was on the "right" side of this one issue (OPEN) - that does not make him one of the good guys.
Of course you think that. You're a crazy liberal who's defending Fast and the Furious on another thread today. I'm normally not a Rob Wyden fan. But Issa and Wyden are supporting something good, and should be praised for it. Who knows? Maybe they'll keep it up.
No, you right-wing nutjob, I was not defending Fast and Furious, I was merely pointing out that the program was no different under Bush, but the right-wing nutjobs are all over Obama for the same shit.
And yet it continued under Obama.
Stop trying to blame one party or the other. Both are at fault, and both should be punished. Vote third party.
Re-read my post. I was NOT blaming Bush. I was merely pointing that the OP was blaming Obama, when it was a continuation of Bush-era stuff. Obama just gets the blame because the program went bad under his watch.
At least the Republicans will allow one the tools to defend oneself or to forcefully change things --- ``Fast and Furious'' and ``Operation Gunrunner'' are a travesty of justice, and it's criminal that the State Department is blocking the return of surplus WWII-era M1 Rifles and Carbines from Korea (which would then be administered by the Civilian Marksmanship Program and sold participants in its programs)
You do know that "Fast and Furious" was an extension of a Bush-era program, right?
I'm a libertarian at heart but I just can't stand the Democrats anymore - especially the new bunch whose main objective is to restrict every right of everybody on this planet.
Oh, you mean like a woman's right to abortion - wait, that's the Republicans constantly introducing legislation to limit that. So you must mean the right to clean water and air - wait, that's the Republicans who want to dismantle the EPA. So you must mean the right to safe medication - wait, that's the Republicans who want to kill off the FDA. So, you must mean the right to equal protection under the law - wait, that's the Republicans who cut taxes for the wealthy, increased prison sentences for crack vs powder cocaine, and want to ask all brown people to show their papers, etc.
I was going to post the same. It's a giant pain in the ass to comparison shop mattresses. They all claim theirs is more deluxe than some other chains. It is hateful.
I do not have a problem. There is no way to download Xcode 4 from the Developer Center unless you have a paid program membership. It says this in no less than 5 places. You have to go to the App Store, which only offers it for 10.7.
Jesus, I can't understand why you don't get it through your thick head that you are clearly wrong. Everypiece of information about Xcode 4 disagrees with your assertion. Including no less than three Apple sites.
No reason to bring in your imaginary friend, Jesus, or the thickness of my skull. Fact 1: I am running Snow Leopard 10.6. Fact 2: I downloaded it from a free developer account. Either things have recently changed or you DO have a problem.
Xcode runs on OS X Lion and includes the Xcode IDE, Instruments, iOS Simulator, the latest Mac OS X and iOS SDKs, and hundreds of powerful features:
The App Store won't even give it to you (barring a bug in MAS) when you don't meet the minimum requirements- the minimum requirements being OS X 10.7 Lion. I.e. not Snow Leopard, which is 10.6, a lower number than 10.7, which is the requirement.
I didn't get it from the App store. I got it directly from the apple.com webpage that has development tools. I got it for free and am running it under 10.6.
From where, The Pirate Bay? The download link for free developer accounts (I have one) just links you to http://developer.apple.com/xcode/ - which prompts you to either get it off the App Store (which explicitly states "Requires Lion") or pay for a developer program membership. Logging into my paid developer account removes the prompt to pay but still just links to the app store. Unless you downloaded Xcode 3, which is a free download...
So, um, yeah. Stop lying.
I don't know what your problem is, but I downloaded Xcode 4 FOR FREE from my Snow Leopard Mac (I do not have Lion).
So, does itunes give you your money back for the purchase? If not, sounds like a good class action lawsuit.
Money back on a free app? That's a novel concept. I think they'd need the best lawyer on the world for that one.
FYI: Apple pays triple your money back on free apps.
You think that's bad? I had to go to the doctor the other day, and he was all "Well, let's cure that cancer of yours" (or whatever it was) and I was like "Hold on a moment, do you know Bresenham's line algorithm?

Supporting consumers and advocating a government nanny organization to 'look over them' are two different things.
It's only two different things when you don't really want to support them. How does a government support them without an agency to do it?
Here we have Republicans supporting consumers over business and small business over big business, which is the exact opposite of what you said.

The bill is sponsored in the Senate by Rob Wyden (D-OR) and in the House by Darrel Issa (R-CA).
Sorry, I used to live in California and I can tell you that Issa is no good guy.
I predict a world where Microsoft has the best mobile platform but can't break the stranglehold of Apple and Google.
I highlighted the part that shows what a wild imagination you have.
The difference being, of course, that under Bush it was managed correctly.
Bullshit. The management didn't change at all. The program just went south after Bush left office.
You realize that the United States is an extension of a George Washington-era program, right? Fool.
That is the dumbest POS argument on the planet.
I think the point should be to focus on the CANDIDATE instead of the party affiliation.
Unfortunately, that doesn't really work. The candidates are so beholding to their party that they must do what the party insists.

It is widely known that Apple stole the design of the iPhone from LG.
No, if anything, it is is widely claimed. And for that matter it isn't widely, but narrowly - specifically by LG.
I was going to post the same. It's a giant pain in the ass to comparison shop mattresses. They all claim theirs is more deluxe than some other chains. It is hateful.
The automobile industry does have this. It's called "gasoline".
Dumb answer. That would only apply if you had to buy Ford brand gasoline for your Explorer.
