Before developers make linux games (instead of porting..) they'll have to see that it's viable to. Many linux games are ports, done later, of Windows games. MacOS seems to have more attention than Linux when it comes to games.
Linux won't be a popular game platform until it's a popular desktop platform. Talk about a niche of a niche of a niche market.
B&W is coming out on the PSX as well so it's not quite a Windows only game.

I would have to agree. A lot of the tech/geek crowd (20-40) grew up on nintendo/atari. I consider the PS2 launch news.
