The problem with your theory is that employee's do not just cost an hourly wage, each employee has state/federal costs that the employee doesn't see. For example SSI is payed for 50/50, ask anyone who's self employed, it's no fun seeing that number you used to see on your paycheck as a deduction double in size. There is also the inherent problem of finding a competent human being to do a job, it's a crap shoot when you hire someone. You may get a good worker who has the needed skills etc, or you get a loser who lasts a week.

Simple, send it to every monitor! The brute force attack method of notification. Even if you don't see it I'm sure someone will ask you about it! On a serious note, why not simple text messages on a pager? What added benefit does cell have for notification, except to instruct remote personnel in the proper use of the fire extinguisher?

Having worked in a compusa once upon a nightmare I can tell you right now never ever buy cables retail. The markup on them is designed to make up some of the horrible margin on computer systems. 50% or higher on a great many cables and I expect the same at any retail point of sale.

I was horribly disappointed with moo3, I waited and waited as they pushed the release back and back. Upon finaly getting the "finished" game I discover a UI thats convoluted and annoying to use and AI that is no better than marginal. bugs crawling all over a game that was supposedly in final beta/regression testing for 3+ months. Worthy of special mention is the absolutely horrid manual they shipped with the game, half backstory, half useless basic information. If any of you recall the horror that was star wars rebellion, this is the same deal. Rebellion single handedly crushed my faith in lucasarts, prior to that game i'd buy anything I saw from them without hearing a thing about it. I was so glad that EB let me exchange moo3 for soldier of fortune 2 I pointed out their error when they tried to give me $10 credit by mistake. If moo3 is remotely of interest save your money, watch for a patch, the bargain bin is coming for moo3 fast.
