You clearly didn't read the MSNBC article linked to from the top of the Heise article. It was pretty un-positive about Windows ME... didn't exactly say "buy now" at least.
for me, this is heavily connected to staring at computers for a long period more than actual brain fade. what works for me: * print out the problem and read it through, preferably away from your workplace and definitely away from your desk. * change your position. i keep a sunny work desk to stand at by the window (natural light for reading) and a computer desk on the other side of the room * do something physical - a walk, or just a day's work in your garden (or indoor growing setup if you're in town;)
fatigue comes from overuse of the same {muscles, inodes, joints, neurons}. exercise some others and i immediately feel refreshed for the task that's giving problems.
this is a bookmark i use to identify a webserver - should work with any JS capable browser. just click this link when you're on a page and it will get you the netcraft result...
the US government runs newspaper adverts overseas for "green card lotteries", where you pay $50 (or something) and can win residency. how can they possibly take a moral stance on gambling when they're prepared to gamble with their own residents?
not that i'm heartbroken by JJ's ruling - well deserved in my opinion... but if my government decided my business practices were illegal, i'd certainly look at relocating to a country where i could continue to get away with what i was up to. any reason microsoft can't place all its assets into the hands of MicrosoftTonga and relocate to someplace a little sunnier? just a thought...
No thanks. If Homesite is the product my clients keep making forms with tags in it, then I'd rather not see it go any further than it has already. People making an HTML editor for a web forms environment should at least read DTDs...
Unless they're pre-emptively XML'ing things of course.
Debian for PPC does, so I don't see why it wouldn't (most packages seem to rely on the existence of RH packages from my brief play with LinuxPPC). LinuxPPC is nice, though; automagically dealt with a lot of crap (console settings, xmodmap etc) that Debian didn't. And hey, I like the RH boot messages in colour, too;)
Tried it on my 7300/180 and was very impressed. Dying to get it on the G3. Debian has quake-lib-stub packages for PPC, but I thought linux quake was only available for x86 - any ideas?

"mac os x comes with a carbonized copy of internet explorer" (or similar) - does this mean we'll see IE for *BSD before linux?
