Welcome to the concept of INFLATION. Compare your bill today to that from 1988 to one from today. It should have doubled. If it costs more than twice as much today (2016) than it did in 1988, then prices have gone up, relative to inflation. If it costs less than twice as much today as it did in 1988, then the cost has gone down. See this page infatlation calculator as my source.
2) The incredible stupid belief that the problem is wrist watches and phones, rather than all technology.
3) Any understanding of the prevalence of electronic media and communication techniques as used by the people that cheat casinos.
Your basic problem is that you think you can eliminate cheating by outlawing specific methods. People can come up with more ideas on how to cheat quicker than you can outlaw them.
This is correct. Maryland is an all party consent state - all parties must agree, unless you have a warrant, or special circumstances apply. They don't on a public bus.

I was thinking that the nice gentleman from England would by nature and habit drive on the left side of the road.
Or the newly arrived gentleman from the Dominican Republic, (a lovely country with beautiful beaches) who grew up in a place where traffic laws are routinely ignored - and has the second highest death rate per mile driven.
Different countries have different cultures of driving. If you have not grown up in the country, you are far more likely to get into an accident. Especially if you come from Niue (the only country with a worse death rate than the Dominican Republic).
You fail to understand the nuisances of the question.
Problem 1) Everyone THINKS they are a good/above average driver. Therefore 75% of the population doesn't want to let a car drive them. but 50% of the population is a BELOW average driver. That means that at best, 25% of the population that are below average drivers, wrongly think they are good drivers and said they would rather drive themselves. My question was designed to make people overcome their own arrogance and think about bad drivers.
Problem 2) You are wrong about most people not having those requirements. While most people are not a 17 year old, nor are they a 71 year old, most people HAVE a 17 year old kid or a 71 year old relative. Those that don't have a 17 year old neighbor or a 71 year old neighbor. The question is whether they want these people, who drive on the same roads as they do, to drive themselves, or to use a driverless car.
Immigrant means they did not grow up with the US's legal driving system/culture.
Some countries simply drive on the "wrong" side of the road. I don't want someone from Britain accidentally pulling out the wrong way. Others have radically different driving cultures - where laws, speed limits signs, and common courtesy are more a 'suggestion' than a requirement.
Most of this applies to recent immigrants, not ones that have been in our country for years.
His 'child pornography' conviction involved someone he was dating - either sending his pics of himself at 17 to a girl, or receiving pics of his 17 year old girlfriend. Similar issues for the child prostition could apply.
We don't know all the details, as the reporter failed to provide this kind of information.
But if this was a 25+ year old guy selling pics and pimping multiple women, that's a different story.
First, it's not a few lines of code, it's an entire application that does not exist. If it were a few lines of code, then they would do it themselves.
Second, it's not just a code, it's specific, propriety code involving extreme company secrets. It's the kind of stuff that if it got out, would make their existing product worthless.
It's the equivalent of asking Coca Cola for their secret formula. No, actually, that formula is mostly hype. Say, it's the equivalent of asking Marvel to give out an uncut edition of Dead Pool to the Pirate Bay a week before it opens in theaters.
Also note, the feds can still do this themselves, without Apple's help - it will just cost a load of money. Maybe $10 million. So they are trying to destroy Apple's reputation - worth a lot more than $10 million, just to save themselves $10 million.
Finally, it's not just Apple's Reputation on the line, nor is it just their business. It's international law and precedent. What the US can do to Apple, other countries can do to all other companies. I.E. If we let the feds force Apple to create an entirely new security destroying product, then China can force any company that wants to manufacture or sell in China to do the same.
It's a bad idea to make Apple do this, and the only people that think making Apple do it have not thought through all the obvious and clear consequences.
Mainly because a bunch of people in the federal government fed you a bunch of obvious lies (it's only ONE phone and we can't do it by ourselves).
The phone should definitely be cracked open - by the NSA without any assistance from Apple.
No. What The US is doing is worse than what China does.
Apple is being ordered to do something that China has NEVER ordered Apple to do - to create software to let them censor.
There is a huge difference between refusing to let someone sell encryption, and allowing them to create and sell encryption, then demanding they break it.
If Apple obeyed the US in this task, then China would demand they do the same. In the end, China would end up having the same espionage ability that the US demanded.
Look, the phone should have it's encryption broken. But the NSA should do it themselves instead of trying to get a private corporation to do it for them.
Politicians are expected to lie. But that's half the reason why we want an outsider - we want someone that IS NOT a politician. That means we can sue them for lying.
Owning the poles Is irrelevant. They don't own the LAND the poles sit on. The Louisville City Council passed a law to force residents to let AT&T put up poles on the residents land without paying the residents anything. If you own a house then there is a telephone pole sitting on your property, they don't pay you rent, they never 'bought' the land, and you can't stop them from entering your property to fix their poles. Even if you don't use ANYTHING on the pole. You could own the land but not have power, cable, or telephone, and AT&T still get's to put up the pole and enter your land.
Basically, AT&T is upset that Lousiville is treating AT&T the same way AT&T treats the people that own the land.
Right now we do not have the capacity to detect a truly earthlike planet around a star unless it is particularly close AND the planet happens to be orbiting in the correct plane.
Effectively we are shooting a flashlight at random locations hoping to see a black cat at night.
Give us at least 50 years of looking before you give up.
There are a lot of ways you can screw with a study. For example, you get dramatically different answers by rephrasing the question.
If you ask: "Do you believe that mothers should be able to legally murder their babies within 2 months of the creation of life?" you get a very different answer than if you ask "Do you believe that women should have the legal right to abortion when the fetus can be demonstrated to show no brain activity more significant than that of a snail."
This might be intentional, or simple unconscious bias.
When Cheney/Bush/Rove where at the height of power, they realized several things.
1) They could move the GOP from a 'conservative' party to a "rural" party.
2) That would make gerrymandering much easier, giving them 20 seats in the House of Representatives.
3) This, new gerrymandered political situation would allow them to push away from the center and create more conservative, far right party, while still remaining in control of the House.
Their plan worked. But they failed to realize their would be pushback. In effect, the far right conservatives that won their districts easily failed to understand that they had cheated. They believed the entire country was far more republican than they were, and pushed for even more conservatism. This was called the T-Party movement. It pushed most of the moderates out of the Republican party.
The few remaining centrists in the Republican party have too little power to lead. Hence Huntsman lost the primary in 2012, and Kasich can't get traction in 2016.
No sane person can lead the crazy mob the GOP invited in. That is why their two leaders are Trump and Cruz
Right now, there are three wings of the Republican party. 1) The lunatic far right invited in (Cruz). 2) The original conservative party leaders that decided to use deception to bring the far right lunatics in. (Rubio/Kasich), and 3) The majority, honest, non-crazy, faithful moderate conservatives that reject the old guard party and the lunatic far right (Trump).
It's a well known fact (at least among sailors) that a good boat, you can use the sail like a wing and then use the 'lift' to push you forward faster than the wind is pushing you. Typically done with extremely light catamarans and hydrofoils, you can achieve speeds 3x the wind.
I will ignore the obvious joke about going faster than the speed of light, but I wonder if we could do a similar effect using a solar sail? Anyone know if you can use a solar sail to get 'lift' as well as push?

Because from what I hear, people do despicable things on them, and then little kids get on the next flight and pour cereal out onto them.
How dare they use complaints to find and shut down the business of hard working food poisoners!
What I don't understand is why so few people use 8068. It's a perfectly good passcode, but it's the least chosen one.

Would you feel safer if your 17 year old / 71 year old / relative./neighbor rode in a driverless car or a drove themselves.
Also, would you feel safer in a NYC cab driven by an immigrant or in a driverless car.
